On March 28, 2025, the Radiotherapy Section was successfully held in Kragujevac, during which Prof. Dr. sc. med. Marina Nikitović participated as a panelist in the session “Update of Protocols for Prostate Cancer Radiotherapy.”
Prof. Dr. Marina Nikitović, a member of the RadExIORSBoost Horizon Europe project, a radiation oncologist with extensive professional and scientific research experience. She is a Full Professor of Oncology and Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine- University of Belgrade, and a Deputy Director for Research and Education at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, as well as the Chair of the National Expert Commission for Oncology of the Republic of Serbia. As a panelist during the Radiotherapy Section, she highlighted the importance of improving and updating protocols for prostate cancer radiotherapy, as well as importance of further development of radiation oncology and radiobiology in Serbia.
