Our team from the RadExIORSBoost Project proudly participated in the 61st Oncology Congress in Belgrade. Dr. Ivana Matic delivered a presentation in the scientific session Scientific Projects in Serbia, introducing the Twinning project RadExIORSBoost: “Twinning to skyrocket scientific excellence towards individual radiosensitivity prediction by raising the bar in knowledge transfer, networking, and technological innovation in radiobiology – project: RadExIORSBoost, 101158832”.
The session, moderated by Dr. Tatjana Stanojković and Prof. Dr. Marina Nikitović, focuses on Translational Research in Radiobiology. In this session, Dr. Nadja Grozdanic Stanisavljevic delivered a lecture entitled: “Biomarkers in Radiobiology – Challenges and Future Directions”, Dr. Jelena Stanić gave a presentation: “RILA test in modern clinical practice” and Dr. Katarina Kopčalić shared her work on “The Correlation Between Changes in IL-6 and TGF-B1 Levels in Serum and Radiation Toxicity in Prostate Cancer Patients”.
The presentations sparked insightful discussions and facilitated knowledge exchange, underscoring the importance of collaboration and innovation in radiobiology.
