It is an honor to share an outstanding PhD thesis defense of the RadExIORSBoost team member dr Katarina Kopčalić. Katarina successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “Predictive significance of clinical characteristics and molecular biomarkers for the occurrence of toxicity during and after radiotherapy in prostate cancer patients” at the Faculty of Medicine – University of Belgrade on 23 April 2025.
Congratulations to dr Katarina, her mentors Prof. dr. sc. med. Marina Nikitović and dr Ivana Matić, and Comittee Members Prof. dr. sc. med. Tatjana Simić, dr sc. Tatjana Stanojković, and Prof. dr sc. med. Ljiljana Mijatović. The work on this PhD thesis resulted in three published original research articles and one review article, while the further research performed resulted in two original research articles and several manuscripts prepared for publication.
This spectacular event testifies to the great work, efforts, and dedication of the RadExIORSBoost project team members to medicine and science.
