During their administrative visit, Dr. Tatjana Stanojković, Dr. Ivana Matić, and Dr. Nina Petrović visited the Heidelberg University Research Service and Medical Faculty Mannheim on 13 May 2025 at the Central University Administration in Heidelberg. The RadExIORSBoost project team members from IORS and Prof. Dr. Carsten Herskind from UMM were kindly welcomed by Dr. Moritz Vogel, Research Manager for EU & Internationales, and Dr. Ralf Weigel, Research Support Officer. They presented pre- and post-award research services and support in addition to EU funded project management and administration. On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the RadExIORSBoost project team members from IORS and Prof. Dr. Marlon Veldwijk from UMM, participated in a very successful and insightful meeting with PD Dr. med. Elena Sperk, Managing Director of the Study Center of the Mannheim Cancer Center, along with her team members, Dr. med. Daniel Buergy and Angelika Puzowski. Dr. Elena Sperk provided an excellent and valuable overview of the organizational structure, services, and activities of her Management team and the Mannheim Cancer Center.
The successful and productive meetings during the administrative visit fostered important collaboration between the RadExIORSBoost project team members and UHEI/UMM administrative and research management staff, and facilitated valuable sharing of knowledge and experience regarding project and research management.
