Mrs. Marie Adams, Head of Research and Partnership Development, Research and Enterprise Division, and Dr. Colin Veal, Research and Partnership Development Manager at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, visited the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia on 2 April 2025 and 3 April 2025. This visit was a part of the RadExIORSBoost project administrative staff visit between two project partner institutions. During their visit, Mrs. Adams and Dr. Veal have shared their valuable expertise in project management, research collaboration and partnership support. They highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary project supervision to gain adequate skills for successful application and project implementation in various research fields. The structure of the University of Leicester was presented to IORS members, as well as the insights into processes of pre- and post-award managing and implementation. Future directions were discussed and researchers were encouraged and trained on how to prepare the “Rulebook for successful project and research management” to attract new research funding.
