RadEXIORSBoost project team in a visit to the elementary school “Josif Pančić”

As the end of the school year is approaching, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the RadExIORSBoost project team visited the elementary school “Josif Pančić”, which has achieved great success at biology competitions during past years and has a long-lasting tradition of providing high-quality education. The team presented project activities to the pupils, who actively participated with great enthusiasm and asked many interesting questions. The team members dr Ivana Matić, dr Tatjana Stanojković, dr Katarina Kopčalić, dr Aleksandar Stepanović, and dr Nina Petrović talked about types of radiation, environmental exposure, biological response to irradiation, radiotherapy, and molecular biology techniques for investigating individual radiosensitivity. It was a great pleasure to share and exchange knowledge in radiobiology with such enthusiastic pupils and their teacher. The project team members emphasized the importance of teamwork for the achievements in science and medicine.
